CNH or Case New Holland is a world leader in the agricultural and construction equipment businesses. Major activities in CROPS
CNH will be one of the system definers, and system integrator/demonstrator, focusing mainly on the application workpackage in orchards (WP6). It will investigate, develop, and demonstrate concepts of selective grape and apple detection and harvesting. CNH has currently (RTK) GPS and laser steering solutions as well as a grain sample inspection system on the market. Based on this expertise, CNH plans to collaborate with the other partners toward realizing real solutions for selective harvesting. The experience of CNH with ISO and virtual terminals will contribute to the project, in which different systems will be integrated and work together.
